How it works
With our scheduling engine, you know you’re getting the best possible schedule, because we cover all your shifts, space them out evenly and fairly, and consider any staff preferences.
And we will handle all the scheduling challenges for you, so you only need to let us know your staff’s AL, seniority, etc.
For instance, here are some rules we have dealt with before:
- Each staff can only work at most once every 3 days.
- Staff cannot work more than 42 hours a week.
- Assign staff certain shifts, and day offs.
- Assign total call numbers for weekdays and weekends for each person (e.g. Dr. Chan takes 5 calls on Mon-Fri this month).
- No AM shifts after a Night shift (this was for a nursing ward).
- Staff should take 2 day offs in a row.
- Distribute shifts fairly across staff.
- Distribute shifts evenly across the month.
